Composer looking for a project
Hello everyone,
a few weeks ago a game-project I was working on has been canceled. As the composer of the soundtrack, I'm now looking for a new project I can join.
So if there's anybody with an interesting project out there and in need of a composer, I would be glad to hear from you. You can find some examples of my work here:

I like the tunes... and I'm going to be super critical.
Many of the harmonies, cords, and background arrangements remind me of past tunes very distinctly.
Conspiracy Demo 3 and Pachelbel's Canon - The chord progression is almost the same... I can't really get that out of my head.
Conspiracy Battle Demo - The battle theme in Final Fantasy 1 is... well, the rhythm and bass intro is exactly the same. It's hard to hear the piece in an original light when that is presenting itself. I think to myself, "Hey, this must be a FF1 piece" instead of "Hey, this would work great in a game". Instead, it's sort of like, "Hey, this reminds me of something I've heard before".
Various others have moments that remind me of other things, like the last piece on the site, and the FF7 battle theme.
I mean, you list Uematsu as influential, and I can testify that really comes out. That may be a good thing, or a bad thing.... just remember that a lot of your tracks sound like stuff "I've heard before". Perhaps expanding listening to other artists and histories could help that.
Just sayin'.

I'm going to agree with facher here.
And besides that, you might want to consider posting in the help wanted area.
But don't go away, as this is a great resource for discussion on music and audio.

I'm listening to "Conspiracy - Demo3" at the moment, and aside from the funny-sounding notes (which were probably intentional, but just take some getting used to), it's a truly beautiful piece. I have nothing to offer you, unfortunately, but do keep up the great work!
"Conspiracy - Demo1" is playing now, and judging from both, I can distinctly hear a classical European sort of influence in your music. Take that as a compliment!
EDIT: Minutes later, I'm still listening to your music, letting the playlist run itself. Gah, it's addictive! The only criticism that I might have is perhaps that the drums on the otherwise-excellent Airship Demo are slightly too loud.
Actually, if you don't mind me asking, what software and equipment do you use? I really like the sound of your piano.
