Hi There Anyone can tell me a link for a free animated butterfly model in one of these formats .3ds, .md2 or directx(.x) Just want static wing animation. I am a student, cant pay now , so please if there any? thanks

TurboSquid has some nice selections of both cheap and free models.. and expensive ones too

There are several free butterfly models and an animated one that is .max format. You can download a trial version of 3ds max and save is out as a 3ds file or if you're a university student then there is bound to be a computer lab with Max in it. If all else fails get a friend to animate one of the freely available non-animated one. It wouldn't take that long.

Thanks, But I don't have a broadband connection. Will 3ds max 4 or 5 work. I have demo of one of them.. I don't remember...
