Actor falls through the floor in 3dsmax
Hello,
I've followed the ragdoll tutorial in 3dsmax which explains how to let an actor fall down the stairs. In steat of using the scene from tutorials I've just made a box myself.
Now my actor falls through the floor... so I've looked back in the tutorial and it said 'put mass to 0.0'. So I checked that, but it was already at 0,0. Then I've checked the collisions and made sure the box had enabled collisions with the actor. But still it falls through the floor. Can someone explain me whats going wrong?
You might have more luck if you moved this to one of the more technical sections of the forum.
Game Design isn't really the proper subject.

Moving to Visual Arts since they probably have the most experience with Max.
Try using a simple sphere, set its mass to 1.0 and also be sure you added the geometry to the rigid body collecion

Forgot that. Sometimes the solution can be so easy but yet so hard... :/ thx anyways. ;)
Now it doesn't wall through the floor anymore. In preview animation it looks great. But when I let it create the animation it still looks very weird. I already saw that when I let it only fall. The legs move through the body and head, lol. Anyone? thx
