Where is the XML standard?
For a while now I''ve been looking around for a document that describes how a document is meant to be ''well formed'' so I can make some assumptions in my parser.
What I''m looking for is something that says that :
-These are valid characters for a Element name.
-Text between braces means X
-Attributes cant have spaces either side of the =
etc... something to that level of granularity...
I''ve been all over www.xml.org still to no avail...
Many thanks

I think you''re looking for Extensible Markup Language (XML) 1.0. It''s currently a W3C recommendation.
Hope that helps.
