What's the difference between a coder and a scripter?
I am the project lead of a V12 (Garagegames) powered game and they want you to buy a license for each programmer but you don''t have to for a scripter.
What''s the difference between the two?? Thanks.

Perhaps you should ask them for their definition of the terms to avoid any misunderstandings and unpleasantries.
Code has to be pre-processed in some way to be used (by compiling it, usually). Scripts are processed at runtime (by an interpreter, usually). For instance, Java must be compiled into an applet to be run, but java-script is merely interpreted as it is run.

Felisandria''s definitions are good ones, but I think that in this case, where you are concerned about legal issues and obtaining the proper licensing, the only definitions that really matter are those that Garagegames put forward, as it is their license they apply to. So, as the Anony Moose said, ask them what their definitions are.
