Flash game ideas

Hey All, Working on some flash games. I'd like to share my ideas - maybe get some feedback and what have you. Line wars Once upon a time, likely about a decade ago, I was playing a custom game of starcraft called zone control. Unfortunately this map's developer had let a bug slip in which allowed armor levels to be upgraded indefinitely, while weapon levels were capped at a low level. As a result, what ended up forming was a huge line of units fighting each other in melee combat, but unable to really damage each other. The only way to break the enemy line was using your heroes - tanks, nukes, etc. Made for an interesting game of territory control and line-warfare. The DoTA Warcraft maps had a similar idea, though without the clearly defined lines of warfare. I'm working on something similar in flash. A line warfare game where your armies line up fighting each other, mostly at a stand-still, and the player has to choose where and how to use special abilities to push the lines of combat back to capture strategic points. Currently, i"m hung up on how to handle path finding and army behavior at a granular level. Working on it though Smiley Traders Everyone has played the "Drug wars" style trading game, I'm sure. Buy low, sell high, use the profits to buy more/better low, sell high. I'm working on a game where the traders themselves are automated, and the player instead controls the trading hubs. So you could invest in farming infrastructure on one planet, if the market looks good for food, and traders will come buy it from you. Of course to invest in farming infrastructure, you need machinery, so you tell the tradeport to pay a premium for machinery, and watch the traders bring it to you. I'm pretty far through programming this idea - and its pretty neat to see ships flying around hauling food and machinery from planet to planet. Still trying to refine an economic model, and to figure out exactly what options the player has. Roids So everyone's played asteroids, I'm sure. I'm working on a simple asteroids clone where, instead of blowing up asteroids, you have to mine them for upgrades, fuel to get to the next level, etc. I'm thinking of adding a twist to this game by playing with the usual survival instinct. I'm thinking that the levels will be so chaotic that survival for longer than a minute isn't likely. So instead of investing player energy in survival, the player has to invest in getting to the most valuable asteroids quickly and mining them before dieing and respawning. I have the basic asteroids engine programmed for this one. Just trying to figure out the specifics of my twist before I take it further. Gardening Game This one is still completely an idea. I am thinking it might be neat to make a game out of plant breeding. You could plant a bunch of trees, for instance, and take the one that produces the most fruit, and cross it with the tallest one to get a better tree. Or you could cross it with the one that produced weird yellow flowers, and maybe you'd get a completely new plant. I was thinking of adding a tech tree, and maybe demands and missions for stuff you need to produce (food, fiber, medicine, materials), while maintaining the fertility and health of your garden. Anyway - let me know if anyone has any ideas!
