Here is something I wipped up. Its not original, its a kind of a copy of a picture of the Halo character. It was done in Paint Shop Pro.

st0ven, where did you learn to do that lovely shading? Can you point me to a book or website?
I want to help design a "sandpark" MMO. Optional interactive story with quests and deeply characterized NPCs, plus sandbox elements like player-craftable housing and lots of other crafting. If you are starting a design of this type, please PM me. I also love pet-breeding games.
many years of practice my friend... actually, its not that difficult really very similar to cross hatch shading. use overlapping line in opposing direction and voila thanks for the compliment
