Well i''ve been working on this game for about a month now maybe a little less and i''ve been working on the save/load feature for about 2 weeks, tonight i tried a shot in the dark in the code to get it to load, and it worked!!! I was so happy, I got a great big good feeling all over now that I finished it, just thought i''d share.
Well good for you. Meanwhile, I''m just struggling to finish my tetris clone in opengl.

Congratulations. Appreciating the small victories helps to generate the motivation that we require to continue with and finish our projects.

Congratulations. I had the same feeling when I got my particle system to work for the first time yesterday. Thats what I like about programming.
Congratulations to everyone. It seems June is full of small successes. I just got my isometric map blting to the screen. Woohoo!

Keep up the good work

Thanks for the support everyone, and also congrats to all of you as well, yeah this is what I love about programming, trying different stuff until it works and then feeling good about making it work.

Congratulations. I''ve just finished an important programming assignment (at least for me) a few days ago.

Men, it feels so good....

Keep on with the good work.

Yea, that''s what I was like when I first got a (mostly copied, but improved) MMX alpha-blitter to work, and be almost as fast as my plain blitter^^ That was a few weeks ago though, and I could probably get the plain one to be much faster if I rewrote it to use MMX, but I have more important things to work on right now (mainly collision detection (my worst fear besides map file loading^^)).

Can''t wait to see what it''s like to finish a whole game^^
