I am using the DIK_*** (in place of the *** is of course a key, A, B) command to test if the key is down. Is there an alternate command (or way) to check if you have pushed the button? Like Im trying to display text after someone pushed a key and if I use the above command it just displays it while Im pushing the key (not the amount of time I want it displayed by a timer).

Just use the DIK_? as a trigger that launches the timed object.
