Does anyone know how to use the system command without having the command prompt pop up?

I think system is supposed to run in a console.

Thanks, ShellExecute worked fine. I just wanted something that would use the command interpreter (for opening html documents and the like, while still being able to run executables).

It was really starting to get to me. I hadn''t heard of the ShellExecute function, and msdn didn''t point me in the right direction...
