how do i change the title of a window?

For Dialogs, if you are using VC++ 5 or 6, goto the resource tab in your project workspace, goto dialogs and double-click the dialog window you want to change and then right-click on the dialog window title bar when it pops up and pick properties, then change the caption.

For the actual window, switch to non-mfc if you really want help or ACTUALLY READ A BOOK ON MFC, IT IS MINDLESS STUFF THAT ANYONE CAN COMPREHEND.
