Hi I'm a programmer who out of need started making his own graphics and then eventually they started looking better and better I tough of sharing these gfx with other people since most of you don't have enough resources to produce your own game the way you want it... They are either 3D or 2d Isometric(prerendered) My first pack is just a ground tile with different elevations Link. Here are some screen shots with a test map created to see how it looks: I'd like some comments :) Next in list is a stone wall while the stone tower is still under construction. Edit: Could someone tell me how to show some pictures here? (I'm used to phpBB style forums)
image tags use src="urlName" not href="urlName"

Okay sorry my fault. Haven't used HTML for a long while now
I realized what I was doing wrong in my smooth version(in between the tiles there where some uncovered pixels).
Here is a screenshot of how the smooth tiles will look(I'll also do a lot of variations for these)

Btw I hope these are useful.
Well I'd like at least a "do some more"... at least I won't do them for nothing.
Can anybody use them? (I don't even require credits)
Edit:
Anyway I finished a bigger nicer tileset:
You can just save the image as it since it's a png and doesn't loose quality

No offense that you are learning 3d art but ANY programmer can make a 3d grid and import a heightmap, or modify a grid to make hills. Then all you did was tile a texture. I think most programmers can already do this.

Since this is a terrain image, I will say google L3DT(free) and you can :

1.Make way better terrains in 5 minutes.
2. Make nice textures to put on the terrains.

If your doing a 2d game, then L3DT will work nicely. It will spit out a 2048x2048 texture for you. In 3d, thats not very good, but for a 2d iso/rpg type, its good.

NBA2K, Madden, Maneater, Killing Floor, Sims
