I have found that simply trust DirectDraw to find a refresh rate when switching to different resolutions doesn''t guarentee the best refresh rate for that resolution. I have figured out one way of finding out the best one by enumerating all video modes, and finding the one with the best refresh rate (for given resolution) and switching to that mode. But this is rather a pain in the butt, and I''m wondering if there is any function that will find the highest refresh rate for a resolution that already exists either in Win32 or DirectX...
