Hi guys, i''m just getting into Tiling and i''ve got a small question. I was looking a bit for different tutorials and ways to make landscapes and stuff and i ran into that Tribes 2 Engine licence. Well it is temping although the conditions really suck my left nut. Anyhow i was wondering what the different was betweek a AAA Tile Engine and a normal Tile Engine or Heightmap. More or less can anyone explain how the AAA tile engine that Tribes 2 uses works, i''d love to work on creating something to that degree. Thanks.
