Are "The Graphic Gem" books worth it ??

They seem old, are they any good. I have -win game programming for dummmies -tricks of the windows game programming gurus -3d graphics programming games and beyond -open gl red book -3d Game Engine design -Real-Time Rendering I am currently doing a 3d software engine( i''m reading 3d graphics programming games and beyond ), after I understand the basic I will go on more advance topics Do the graphic gems book cover topics that are not in the book mention above? How much is the cost of the 5 books ? Is it worth it? thanks

The graphics gems books are filled with useful graphics algos. Well worth the money in my opinion.

I''ve debated that myself. I keep coming to the conclusion that there are other books I would rather have. I have about 30 books on graphics and there are still other books that seem of more practical value. I think they would make a great referance, but they still seem a luxary considering that it costs about $350 for the full set.
