GeForce3: the 'where', the 'what', and the 'how much'
Where can I buy the GeForce 3?
Does it support Linux?
How much does it cost?
Do you like Foo Fighters? (don''t answer that)
The Geforce 3 was *just* released this week to retailers (I'm 99.9% sure of that anyways:D) So it's not going to be totally common in stores yet. You can get one from BestBuy right now for $400 or $350 - $50 rebate ($350 or $300 therefore) i think.
Otherwise, you can go to www.pricewatch.com and get it for $50 cheaper, but it won't be retail.
It does support linux, because nVidia really really really supports linux with drivers (my friend who doesn't even play games EVER , bought a GF2 64MB Ultra just for that fact...why a $60 GF2 MX wasn't good enough for him? who knows...)
And I shall honor your request of not answering whether or not I like the Foo Fighters
