AP: Columbine was the name of the High School. Littleton is the name of the town. Doom 2 was not beta tested at a random highschool in an extremely small town outside of Denver.

How's Doom III going??
"When it''s done" is the BEST answer.
Anybody remember how buggy Outpost was? Fallout (love that car trunk)? MOO 2?
I hate it when the marketing build up this hype of "On store shelves Nov 1." Then pay the stores to put up displays, pay stores for good shelf space, pay for magazine ads.
Cuz then it doesn''t matter what shape the game is in -- it MUST go to manufacturing 45 days before the shelf date.
Then we all get stuck being forced to download 5 meg "patch" files just to get the game to work. AAAARGH!
Marketing is EVIL.

Doom II did not cause the Columbine shooting.
By perpetuating the fallacy that a video game (or any other media) can make a person do something that they normal would not you become the source of the problem, which allows individuals to claim “Doom made me do it.”
Some people claim that the availability of firearms in the US is to blame.
When something is tragically amiss, there are no less than 20 system failures. If all twenty (or more) of those failures had not occurred there would have been no incident.

Deathmatch Q3 got old pretty fast but I still like CTF and the other variations.
Did anyone watch the Doom3 clip from the GDC? The audience was under-whelmed by the grand display of technology.

- The trade-off between price and quality does not exist in Japan. Rather, the idea that high quality brings on cost reduction is widely accepted.-- Tajima & Matsubara
