What's a PSW?
Anyone know what a PSW is and what it''s used for?

Well, PSW could be anything, depending on where it''s used.
Most likely explanation I could find in a programming context, is that PSW is ''Program Status Word'', which is the flags register on the x86 CPU... But maybe I''m completely wrong

That''s what I came up with. To the people asking me (Electronic Arts) I''m going to look like a goof. I said I had heard about it but didn''t come into contact with it that often.
Oh well, there are other jobs.
Thanks for your reply.

Funny I thought it stood for ''persistent-state world.''
Electronic arts are the biggest goofs there are so I wouldn''t worry about it - believe me you are better off not working for them.
