Blender / 3DS / Shininess
I'm using Blender 2.43 under linux (Ubuntu 7.04) to export 3DS files that I'm importing with lib3ds 1.2. I'm having trouble with the shininess material property. No matter what I set the "Spec" bar to under the Shader tab in Shading panel (or any of the other bars, for that matter, I've tried them all), the material "shininess" as read by lib3ds (and using the supplied 3dsdump utility) always comes out as "0.1". The other material properties (diffuse, specular) are read just fine. Can anyone shed some light on the issue? Thanks.
