hi All, I''ve been using win2k for 2 months now and yesterday I encountered this problem everytime it loaded to the desktop: The instruction at "0x77fca2bf" referenced memory at "0x65726572". The memory could not be "written". By debugging this error (and mind you this error pops up randomly while in win2k) I got this error message: Unhandled exception in WinMgmt.exe (NTDLL.DLL): 0xC0000005: Access Violation. This seems to be the heart of NT! (well Kernel is) The point is I never installed 3rd party software PRIOR to this. (with the exception of winamp and 3dmark 2001) The error simply pops up randomly no matter how many times I reboot!! And then the inevitable thing happened, I no longer was able to boot into win2k. It was say "Starting windows..." and straight after that scroll thingy, I would get the BLUE screen of death: ***STOP: 0x0000007B (0xED41B84C, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE like hellooo?? My hard disk does boot up. I tried re-installing win2k but that didn''t help either!! I had to re-format the whole harddisk and re-install again. And I don''t want this to happen to me again -Xtreme
Yes! There are kangaroos in Australia but I haven't seen them...yet
Make sure you have the newest BIOS and controller drivers (for your motherboard). That''s probably a hardware issue.
