Hi, I just finished a game which I''ve uploaded to the GD Showcase:- Asteroids Deluxe It is a nearly faithful rendition of the original 1980''s Atari Asteroids Deluxe with the inclusion of a Boss and Powerups. This is my second game and my first Vector Game. You need Directx8 and must be running in 32 bit color(true color). Any feedback suggestion or comments would be appreciated. I programmed the Anti-Aliasing after reading the theory of the WU Line algorithm in an article on this site, so that was really useful, there was no code however. I think it adds a lot to it. I want to move into 3D programming as soon as possible and taking the paused step of doing some 2D vector programming will I think make this task very much easier. I recommend this approach to any new programmers. Programmed for Windows with C++ and DirectX 8. Cheers, Iain Girdwood rellit@hotmail.com

Thats a nice game. I would also like to see the source to it.
nice game. but why would you guys need source to a game like that? theres nothing hard to do in it. i know because i just finished my 3rd game. if you cant program it by yourself without other code in front of you doing the same thing, you could never do anything new or good.
bad!
