Riddle me this...
There is a version of CodeWarrior for mac. MAC OS X comes w/ a C++ compiler. There are more, just check out the developer section on apples web site.

If you do a search on the net for "Free Macintosh C Compilers" you're bound to find something sooner or later... Once you wade through all the crap the internet has to offer.

What are you aiming for, OS 9 or OS X?
OS X comes with all the developer tools, which is really handy. And I think that''s all there is for the moment.
On OS 9, as has been mentioned, there is CodeWarrior which does OS 9 and X under Carbon - however it has problems under X, and you''ll need to get the later carbon libs.
I am not sure if MPW does Carbon or not - it should though, and it''s free. What more could you want? You can download it from Apple''s site.
