Quake III md3 files
Hi all,
I have created a Quake III md3 format model viewer. However, I am running into some trouble. The characters are actually three seperate models: head, upper, and lower. I figured out how to animate the models by checking out the animation.cfg file. In the md3 files for each, they specify offsets from the models origin to the attached pieces. (i.e. lower specifies that upper is at some offset, upper specifies the offset for the head and the weapon). So it looks as though the lower section is the most important and everything else is just a delta position.
My question (finally!
During the animation, how do I keep all the pieces together?! Do I have to manually track the rotation and position of the lower section and then adjust the others accordingly?
