I have a dilemma. I have so many good ideas for games and can't find the right typing program. I don't want to write the entire design, since I can get more done, and quicker when typing. I have tried Wordpad, Notepad(lol), and Microsoft Works, but none of them "feel" right. Can any of you sugguest a good typing program for designers? Any help is needed. Proverbs 26:12------------------------------There is more hope for fools than people who think they are wise.
I use Ultra Edit for a general word processor proggy, but if you are just looking for a something to organize your thoughts and notes, I''d recommend The Literary Machine.

It''s an associative database proggy for text notes, mostly aimed at writers but great for creative ideas in general.

And it''s free.

An idea that was tossed around here awhile back was to do design docs in HTML. Especially if you have like a plot that can diverge and intersect a lot, the links could help to keep it all streight.

Just another tool in the toolbox.
Go for HTML

It is easier to read, and you can publish it on the internet, so that other people can also benefit from it
Voice recognition software!
(not that I''ve ever used it...)
