"Kingdoms of Hayr : The Incarnation" (KOH-TI) This story will be made in a Neverwinter Nights 2 module , because we also use this tool to create stories on concept and we want to bring our world to a public already into Fantasy worlds. In order to fully understand the events that take place in KOH-TAB a prequel was not a bad idea The story was already there but we where not planning to use it that much apart from in-game books and clue’s in the ancient bloodline. After the some of us looked it over , and looked at our current situation , a prequel in NWN2 would not be a bad idea at all . So it was decided that apart from the “Stories of the Realm” side projects , we will also be making a prequel called “The incarnation” The Plot: The plot takes place hundreds of years before “The ancient bloodline”. The Katran kingdom is still very young and under constant threat from neighboring races like the Omnib’s . After a great war where they crushed the Omnib hordes the Katran Kingdom is weakened . The Queen who has taken on the role of Goddess send troops over the Northern mountains where none returned apart from one general. The general later married the queen and they had twin daughters and a son.. When the Queen was less seen in the public orders where given to the people to collect their blood and sacrifice it to the altar of the god Brorneo and General Shay at oversaw those rituals . When he dies his son Breor took over those rituals .. Although something is very disturbing about him .He cuts himself on occasions saying his flesh is not his and tainted, that’s why he wants to hurt his body. From there all sorts of strange events occurred that would make it clear to the Katran and all of the southern lands, that there are god’s controlled by a force beyond their understanding. How The Game Begins... The game begins at the time the general that returned dies and his son takes over the Rituals of the Temple . You are a Merchant who stumbled on some evidence something in the temple is out of place and out of curiosity you go and take a look. When you discover the truth you yourself are discovered as well, you are put under a spell but the enchantment failed. Now it’s up to you… will you follow the path of good or aid the forces of darkness.. when you awake you will find yourself in the darkest time of the Katran people throughout its entire known history. Setting: You will around the Homkatrana area that exists in “The Ancient Bloodline” only as a ruin. It is a day that people look to the god’s to strengthen the Katran race because they suffered severely from the other races. In this day in age there is little known about the northern regions and a lot that needs to be discovered. The only thing the Katran know is that no one ever returns from the lands beyond the big mountains Peak and Hemdet… The rule is that of the Kamar dynasty, the line that ruled the Katran people the longest from the beginning up to this era (2nd) The Kamar Royalty have started to gain a liking towards elven society and would like to see their own civilization take over some of the civil life the Quaellii have . The Quaellii on the other hand are leaving one by one because the Katran people seem like a lost cause to them. Conlusion… The KOH-TI story takes place inside the huge Homkatran city in a time where it’s very existence is not guaranteed. You can choose sides of good and evil and discover what lies underneath the obvious events that occure. The setting is a very eary age where the Katran still has a lot to discover The ideal story to begin your journey into the World of Hayr and be able to discover small hints that will help you along the way in our later title “The ancient bloodline” ******************** any thoughts on this?
