All up and running good sir!

I've had a chance to listen to a few of your tracks and there is diverse sense of styles to speak of. I just listened to Galactic Adventure and was very much reminded of Jerry Goldsmith's Star Trek theme. Beautifully orchestrated and very sweeping thematically. I don't feel that a synthetic orchestra does the most with your composition but there are few cases where that principle holds true.

Very nice music!

One bit of criticism for 'Final Confrontation'. Great materials here. I really like how the instruments are working together and there is a definite fluidity in the instrumentation choices, but almost too much so. The harmonic tension is good but the instrumental tension is not there. Percussion might be a safe way to increase the intensity of the piece. Snares, cymbals and field tenors might amp the volume up and make the heart beat a little faster. I have a million idea's on how this piece would benefit from some cymbal crashes and snare work but its quite possible that wasn't what you were looking for.

At any rate, I like your sense of musical development. There is nice detail in the form and good orchestration skills to back that up. You have a well aligned sense of orchestration and good/interesting compositional instincts within specified emotional cue's. Its a pleasure checking out your music.

Good to hear about the website, I've been sweating that the past few days.

Thanks for taking the time to listen, I appreciate all of the compliments.

As good as the technology is today, I do get this feeling occasionally. I have a tendency to write music for orchestra and then adapt it to my sample libraries rather than just writing music to the strengths of my sample libraries.

I agree. When I originally wrote this, it developed a bit more and was alot more dramatic and richer in texture. Unfortunatley, it wasn't really write for the situation in the game. I ended up just kind of editing out the more dramatic portions and this is what was left. I still really like the piece, it just needs to be about 3 times as long and develop a bit more. Once I finish up a few things I'm working on now I plan on reworking it.
