Hi I wanted to load a walking animation in my project, I am using cal3d, my problem is that I made a biped animation in 3d studio , where the bot is moving forward while it walks. My problem is when I load this animation using cald3d, the bot moves and when the action of walking finishes, the bot moves backward and continues moving from that point. My problem is how I can do it, so that the animation continues where it started as if it was an static animation where I had only animated its legs and arms. Thank you very much !!!

Yes,but I made two animations in one of them the bot was just standing moving its legs and arms and in the other one the bot walked using footsteps. The animation that I am using "footsteps" looks more realistic, but the problem is that the bot moves forward, every step, (in 3d studio max too),

And I would like to know how to do it to keep it in the same position, and just moving it using my physics in my game engine. I am newbie in 3d studio, and I don't know if it is possible to do it.

Thanks again.

you should be able to go into the animation scene graph in 3ds and delete the forward transition phase of the animation for all keyframes. i believe the actual transition of the location for an object can be edited seperatly from the movement of the bones inside the animation scene graph.
for help on how to edit the scene graph if you're not familiar wth it, simply press F1, its your friend .
