The idea is simple. Game companies are trying to program every kind of game. Action games, sports, racings, simulations, frps, etc, etc, etc My idea is programming a game which is about itself. A managering game about a game company. In start of game , user will create his company. Its name, its budget( part of difficulty ), its location, its logo. Then game will start. Player first decide to create a project. He will choose game's type, quality, performance , audience, deadline, budget. Player will hire designers, programmers, artists, testers then. Each employee will have different properties which will effect the game play. For example: A tester can find more bugs than other, but the other can give helpful ideas which will improve the quality of game. A programmer can make less mistakes than others, but another programmer can have an excellent performance when project deadline is near. An artist will be very succecful in racing games but not in FPSs. These are simple examples. This does not mean that these features will be in the game. I just want to make it clear. In the game , there will be other companies. They will also do their own games which will be player's opponent. Player can transfer an employee from other firm or can lose his own employee to other company. After company grows, player can try to have multi-projects. Player can choose marketing options. Advertising skills, costs. The game will include all the properties of a real game production period. I know that these are not enough .There are lots of things that must be in the game. ı just wrote the flash in my head. PS:I know that this game cannot be a best-seller game:) it will not attract many people. But this game can show that game production period is one ot the most difficult jobs in the world. can teach people about this period.

So, it would kinda be like The Movies. If done well, it could be fun. Good idea!

I remember seeing a little game of this idea released on this forum somewhere, but can't find it cause I can't remember the title.

There's already a game out there I don't know what it is, but I saw the review on X Play and uh, I don't know it got a bad rating.

It's called GameBiz and as far as I know there are two of them. It's not just programming though it's a game company sim pretty much.
