Exporting From 3DS Max Leaves All Objects At Origin

I'm just trying to get into 3DS Max from Maya but I can't find my solution. I have a "level" of sorts set up that I want to export. When I load it into my game, everything's there, but everything is centered at the origin. I know that it exports things using their local coordinate system, but is there a way to change this somehow? In Maya I could use Edit->Freeze Transformations to get the same effect, but I'm having no such luck finding this option. I'm using version 9 if it matters. Edit: Forgot to mention I'm using the newest Panda .X exporter.
