You are going to need to narrow that down a bit. In Tycoon-style games, you can have many types of AI. Those would range from simple pathfinding all the way up to advanced economic analysis and algorithms to determine strategic parternships, etc. What exactly are you looking for? (In fact, maybe this site and/or forum can be one resource).

Holy crap, dude! Give it a bit. You haven't had this thread for 18 hours yet. This help desk isn't staffed around the clock, ya know. I was going to answer tomorrow but I may just make you wait a little if you don't take your seat. Sheesh!

Lol! :D *listening*
Out of curiosity I googled "AI for Tycoon Games"... unfortunately, this thread came up first, so that wasn't much use :)

Why don't you describe the system you want to build the AI for in more detail? Tycoon games can be very different - railroad tycoon is nothing like zoo tycoon or capitalism II. In thinking about economic AI, I think we should first start by analyzing the environment that the AI will operate in in order to identify the types of strategic decisions that the AI has to make and the data inputs available to it.

I think about a system with some future of capitalism but not in a complex city.
Unfortunately there is no help, no document no else about Tycoon Systems!

There isn't likely to be a document when all the games are very different! Lots of the standard AI routines will work well for different aspects of such games though.
