One important question: Does anybody know how to create these main menu icons / images as seen in the main menu of the Visual C++ 6.0 developing environment, the Office 2000 application, Corel Draw 10, ...? Every idea, answer or link would help. Thanks

Does really nobody know? It''s important for me.....

They are bitmaps that are 16 colors or less (I think), and are generally 16x16.

You can create them in any image editor and save them as a .bmp format. At run time you can associate bitmaps with the menu item.
