I bought a wireless gaming receiver for windows and a wireless controller. I succeeded to connect them and use them to play XNA game. But I now have a problem that is how to close the wireless controller's power. I had pressed and held the Xbox Guide button on my wireless controller for three second, but the Xbox Guide button still flashed.

The pad shuts itself down relatively quickly if you just leave it on the side. I'd assume there is someway of turning it off, but I have no idea what it is at the moment.

Ravuya's done it for you, don't worry about it.

I've had a quick google... all I've found are people suggesting either just to leave it on the side for a bit, or to hit the button that pops out the battery compartment.
