I have Windows Game Programming for Dummies by Andre LaMothe and someone said that if you have that book don''t get Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus because they''re both almost the same. Was that person right or wrong? Thanks.

Yes, the two books are very similar, covering basically the same topics. At least that''s the impression _I_ always got...

TOTWGPG goes into a lot more depth, and covers more advanced topics.
