Does anyone know a good (i.e reliable, plentiful) online source for journals in the area of Artificial Intelligence?
ISI Web of Knowledge
ACM Digital Library
IEEE Xplore
Science Direct

From recollection, these all require subscription though.

When I try to find astronomy resources these are often here.

You might look at computer section. ~_^

As for pay for access journals I ignore them on purpose. Considering that even science, and other journals allow free access with at most one year delay, who cares about pay for read types of journals.

If you can get free online access to a very broad range of high quality journals across a variety of fields, then fantastic... don't pay... unfortunately, every free site I've seen so far offers only a very limited number of low quality journals publishing in a very narrow band of the field.

Yeah, a lot of the journal sites I've been to over the years only offer you the abstract for free. But still, unless you're rather experienced with that sort of thing, the abstract might be all that you need/can handle.

If you're a college or uni student, check with your library. My uni has like a 'group' access account, so any student can access quite a large number of online journals for free (well, Uni pays, but meh ;) ).

Also, if you're a student, or live near a uni/college, check out the library there, as it's quite possible they'll have some journals on hand.
