TEXT(x) makes something character-set neutral. Unless UNICODE is defined, it compiles for ANSI. If one wishes to declare Unicode-only strings for some reason, one can type Lx, where X is a string. Ex: L"Greetings"

And under CE it''ll always convert ansi to Unicode is what I think was meant.
