loading sprites from animated gif?
1st of all, i''m using java.
i want to have pics of objects at different rotation angles. but rendering realtime is too slow and redering at init and storing it takes a huge amount of memory(gifs won''t since they''re compressed).
now what i did previously was take a single image, feed it to some animation program, then out comes the animated gif. i can export each individual frame, but it''ll be a hassle for the program to fetch each file individually.
i''m wondering if there''s a way so i can have each frame tile up neatly in one single image file(gif, cuz i need transparency).
