YOu closed the thread because you do not know history and because I did not spell check as I should have done. Get real. So what. I will say this once. a 486 class computer and a xp class computer are different when you are discussing hardware issues. Platform is another issue. This is why people want to know what kind of computer and platform. There are some generalized stadards when you know the class of the computer. XP class computer can have a wider range of microprocessor speeds but the hardware issues do tell what is on the system when you know the class of system. Thus apple class, Apple IIC class. Macintosh class and I mac class for apple products. You also have the same with 386, 486, Pentium class, Win 95/98 class, 2000 class and XP class. There are hardware differnces for each class and requirements. The fact that I have a working Windows 3.11 for workgroups for testing shows actually that you are not qualified to run the board or make proper judgements concering these issues. Many companies and many millions of people around the would still use Windows for workgroups and there are hundreds of programs still produced for them. The largest user of this class of computer is Russia and former Russian republics as well as several Europeans and yes there are several hundred businesses which still use this product here in the US. There is still a need to test programs with this platform at this time. A few more years and I can finally close that one out. Just as there are still companies which run Cobal when they should upgrade to something better but are willing to pay a programer and tester lots of money to keep the same out of date system working. Aka SPCAA Agrigrowers for example. I beta test many products not just games. I like to test games but then you can not make a good living just testing games. I like my lifestyle and testing games only would cut more than half my business. What you have shown is your stupidity concerning product use and computer history. You made statements which are not true. For a moderator, that just can not happen. So either research your response or ask better questions rather than make stupid blank statements which are not correct when anyone with a google can verify within seconds the statements made by almost anyone these days. pablo222 The Texas Express.
