:) Its been awhile since I've posted any music so I just thought I would remedy that with a little piece that I started today. Comments are welcome. The piece is drill and bass. Midnight Shiva Thanks Ryan
Good work, I don't particulary care for it, but that's just a different matter of tastes [smile] The main thing I didn't like was the fact that many times thoughout the song, it seemed as if it were skipping. (:16-:20) (:29-:33) as a few examples, that and the transitions seemed really forced and clashed. Other than that, good work and keep on it.

Thanks Drew. :) I tried to throw in a missed beat here and there at various points to keep the piece from getting predictable (which probably wasn't a problem in the first place). I agree that the transitions are pretty choppy right now but that is kind of what I wanted. It is kind of synonomous with the style of drill and bass. Whatever the case I agree that the piece could certainly benefit from a bit of cleaning up at the joints. Thanks much for taking the time to listen and comment. :)

take care

I'm not that much of a fan of this style, but it sounded allright to me. But indeed, especially the second transitition seemed a bit akward.

Thank You. I am not really familiar with this style yet myself and this was merely an exercise to familiarize myself with something out of my normal range.

lol I know. ;) Its a 'glitch'. Its meant to be there. I have a tendency to make things a bit too smooth. So the thinking was that this would provide a break and it really threw things off. Perhaps a bit too much so. Just to make sure, are you referring to the transition at around :30?
