Indeed. Though I suspect it's more complicated than that. I'm not sure if there were technical limitations, or political issues, but either way it was decided not to make me a moderator of this forum. I'm sure the folks at GDNet had good reason for not doing so.

In specific, I tend to come and go, not sticking around for long periods at a time. This is largely due to family, fun, and work. Although I highly enjoy helping out the people here on GDNet, I've got lots of other interests.

I'm sure this, among other things, discourages the brass from making me a moderator. And I completely understand.

Most of the concepts illustrated in this chapter did get somewhat complex and could possibly be confusing, but I made sure I read through carefully. Most of this is still stuff that I have known in the past with my previous programming experience.
