You're probably right about the sounds. I find I have to tweak some sounds quite a bit- but then it can sound pretty good. It will probably just take some time to learn what it can and can not do.

I wouldn't buy Col. for its orchestra sounds. i would buy gold or silver and silver pro for that.

I still use colossus even though I own a lot of EW other products. It is easier to just come to that program. I don't want to have to install Hardcore bass, and this and that :P I run out of HD space really quick!

can i still get a student price from the discounted price?.. thers lots of bundles out there, i dont think i can still get that additional student price, can i? lol..

Student discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other deals, bundles or packages. They are already cheaper than most of the sales anyway.
