Input control for Tetris-clone, how?

No problem with the Keyboard!
Your game is too fast!
You must slow it down with a timer (see questioned below)
to have a framerate of 60-70 FPS!

I hope could help...

How do you take care of keyboard input control for Tetris-clones, im using directx in C++... what i have now is a method where the keys that are pressed are checked and than a sprite is moved, but once i press a key the sprite moves really fast...
