Free X File Animation Meshes (Skinned)
Hi all, im looking for free X File Animations, they will be used on a RTS. They also have to be skinned meshes. I hope you can help me :D Thanks in advance.

You could search one the model databases like TurboSquid or 3D Cafe. Something to note, however, is that you're probably going to have a heck of a time finding free skinned models with animations in .x, because there is a heck of alot of work that goes into creating what you're asking for and not too many people going about producing it to give away for free.

Firstly, sorry I don't know of any online resources for free skinned .x models for rts games [sad]
If however you are just needing animated models for placeholder art, I personally would just use tiny.x in various colours and sizes (change the texture or scale the model up/down) and move her around as rts units and even buildings [lol]
If you want proper models that would suit your needs for a game you are working on then you could try recruiting an artist and have them work with you to get your project finished and look how you want it to [smile]

Yeah thats what i wanted to do, but i cant find the source code ( .3ds ) of the model, and i don't know how to reverse engineer the model, so i can edit it.
Does anyone knows how to do this???
