8 more basses...sheesh. I mean, if you call yourself Bassman that's the way to go. What's the last thing I bought 8 of...?
A pack of socks? (Sockman? Tubeman?)
Frozen Burritos? (Bean Boy?)
Pens? (Penman? My boat will be called Penmanship! I'll live on Pen Island...wait, that's dirty...)

No, just a support. I went for a de-tuned guitar feel more than anything else.
Oh, and I play my dad's 5-string fender "Jazz Bass". Works for me. =)
P.S. You're a dork, Anthem ;P

Say - would you be willing to write a short piece for a campus radio show? I promise I would give you verbal credit often!
Anyways, just if you're interested. It's actually a talk show in need of a theme song of sorts - "Crime Talk." Now, I ask this because so long as you're considering writing music anyways, this might not be too far different from the style of what you're already writing.
If you are interested, the show is exactly what you might think - current topics in the criminal justice area of the world, as well as interviews with psychologists, forensic types, and a police captain or two thrown in the mix.
At the least, is there a chance I could grab Loader Pad 5 from you?

...Also, I'm fairly impressed that you own eight basses. I have two, but only one is reliable. I still want to swap the neck on one for a fretless (I suppose I could go all Jaco on it and tear the frets out, but that frightens me), and I miss the upright greatly. So, it's certainly nice to see a whole host of bassists hanging around!
//edit. Wow, I completely skipped the front of your site before. Enjoyed seeing the music put to video (especially Ice Age. My professor here was the professor of the director of Ice Age. Random fact he threw at me one day).

gsgraham.comSo, no, zebras are not causing hurricanes.
I would be interested. I am out of the office all next week but the following I could take a look. And yes, please use loader 5 all you want!
On the bass side, I actually had an old peavy bass, my second bass ever, when I was in high school and I went all Jaco! Thank God my mother took the neck and had it redone into a true fretless and saved the bass. Man did I mess that up! I have 2 fretless basses now and I only buy them that way now.
Let's talk when I get back.

Wow you're music is VEEEERRRY good, its this sort of stuff witch makes games emersive. Ever played diablo2?? i think that music really brought the game together.
Thanks! And yeah I agree. I also think that when there is music, then the absence of music is VERY effective as well, but thats a suggestion for a developer!
Take care!

Hey man,
I don't mean to be a jerk, but your song "Heroes" is a complete quotation of John Williams' score to the movie JFK. Same theme, same key. Same orchestrations in places, same upward lift to the VII chord. I hate to say it but that makes me wonder if the rest of the music is derived this directly. Just chance, I suppose, that I was listening to my John Williams anthology before I pulled up your site. Here is a clip of the JFK soundtrack. And here is your audio demo. Care to respond?
PS I realize that this is not a popular way to be, but I feel people should have all the information available to them before they request music from someone.

That is correct, Universal Music requested a sound alike for a movie trailer, and that is what that is. There is nothing to hide, please check all the music if you have the time. The other pieces that I mentioned are not available for use, were composed for other projects. The sound alike "Heros", is as well NOT AVAILABLE for use, but 50% owned by Universal Music, 50% owned by me.
Here in Los Angeles, it is not uncommon for a request to be made to compose something that sounds like another. As a matter of fact, if you go to my site, www.scorela.com and listen to the Austin Powers piece I did for the Superbowl, you will hear that I sounds like another well known piece.
Sometimes it's a bummer to do sound alikes, but I do enjoy the financial benefits.
PS, I don't think you are a jerk, so you can relax.I also see that by your profile you are into M. Night Shyamalan movies. I have had music on one of his shows. Not sound alikes however.

You have music on an M. Night movie?
How cool is that!!! Which one?
I'm a composer who has arranged and written music for various video games and am starting to break into film.
Good luck!

Very cool. However, the pieces where on a television special (ABC if I remember) around Halloween on 2004. I was hired by a company called New Wave Entertainment (show producers) but never actually watched the show in its entirety. Only the spots I scored. I guess it is time to create a bio since I have lost track of the compositions.
Best of success to you!!
