Free C++ Compilers ???
well i dont know of any windows c++ compilers that are free but you could try DJGPP it can make windows programs using rsxntj or something like that i havent tried making a windows program yet tho im still working in dos

There are two compilers that I know of: CygWin32 and Ming32 (I think that's it). I don't know where to find them (sorry). I've never used them and know very little about them. Look them up.
Another idea... go to http://www.cprogramming.com and get their free TCLITE compiler. If I'm correct, it's a C++ compiler.

It's dos but 32 bit protected mode (AWESOME)
There's also an allegro version for windows but you should try dos first.
By the way:
-in dos you have all the memory and processor time for your game.
-and Dos programs run under windows but windows programs don't run under dos

Does anyone know of any free C++ compilers for win95 and where to get them as I am just learning C++ and have nothing to compile on.

There's a free Win32 compiler out called MingW32. I think the homepage is here:
