Hi, Does starbase graphic library on HP9000 is accelerated material ? Does exist a benchmark tool to evaluate the graphic capacity of the server HP unix ? What are the best graphic library to use in application with motif ? the description of the server hp9000 is : HEWLETT PACKARD WORKSTATION GRAPHICS CONFIGURATION PRODUCT INFORMATaION graphics product: HP VISUALIZE-FXE driver name: hpfxe archive library: /opt/graphics/common/lib/libddfxe.a shared library: /opt/graphics/common/lib/libddfxe.sl /opt/graphics/OpenGL/lib/libddfxegl.sl device pathname: /dev/crt spu description: 9000/785 CONFIGURATION INFORMATION image planes: 48 overlay planes: 8 resolution: 1024 X 768 color or grayscale: color Powershade installed: yes PHIGS supported: yes hardware accelerator: yes geometry accelerator: no image accelerator: no texture accelerator: yes hardware zbuffer: yes software zbuffer: no video out: no total framebuffer memory: 24 Megabytes PHIGS/STARBASE CAPABILITIES lighting and shading: yes depth cueing: yes dithering: no vector antialiasing: yes spline primitives: yes screen door transparency: yes illumination bits: yes model clipping: yes model capping: yes --- Starbase only interference check: yes --- Starbase only contouring: no --- Starbase only deformation: yes --- Starbase only alpha transparency: yes --- Starbase only texture mapping: yes color recovery: no PHIGS COLOUR SUPPORT direct colour environment, true colour mapping: yes direct colour environment, pseudo colour mapping: yes indexed colour environment: yes STARBASE SHADE MODES CMAP_NORMAL shade mode: yes CMAP_MONOTONIC shade mode: yes CMAP_FULL shade mode: yes HP OpenGL SUPPORT direct rendering (hardware): yes receive indirect rendering (protocol): yes emit indirect rendering (protocol): yes virtual GL rendering (VGL): yes OS/SOFTWARE VERSIONS HP-UX uxs001 B.11.11 U 9000/785 2008173188 unlimited-user license /opt/graphics/common/lib/libhpgfx.2: PHSS_26568/26572 SB Runtime/DevKit PHSS_26568/26572 SB Runtime/DevKit PHSS_26568/26572 SB Runtime/DevKit PHSS_26568/26572 SB Runtime/DevKit GRAPHICS CORE on HP-UX 11.00 $Date: 10-Sep-02.23:51:14 $ $Revision: 20020910.25549 $ libhpgfx.2 /opt/graphics/common/lib/libhpgfx.1: PHSS_26568/26572 SB Runtime/DevKit PHSS_26568/26572 SB Runtime/DevKit PHSS_26568/26572 SB Runtime/DevKit PHSS_26568/26572 SB Runtime/DevKit GRAPHICS CORE on HP-UX 11.00 $Date: 10-Sep-02.23:51:14 $ $Revision: 20020910.25549 $ libhpgfx.1 /opt/graphics/PEX5/lib/libPEX5.1: PHSS_23559/23561 PEX5 Runtime/DevKit PEX5 Library PEX 5.1 v4 on HP-UX 11.00 $Date: 17-Sep-02.23:55:58 $ $Revision: 20020917.19773 $ libPEX5.1 /usr/bin/X11/Xhp: Built for: 11.0006 on HP-UX Daily, -O +Onolimit X Window System, Version 11 R6 (build date: Thu Dec 5 22:54:23 MST 2002) /usr/lib/X11/extensions/libXhpPEX.1: PHSS_23559/23561 PEX5 Runtime/DevKit Extension Library PEX 5.1 v4 on HP-UX 11.00 $Date: 11-Sep-02.05:19:05 $ $Revision: 20020911.23645 $ libXhpPEX.1 /opt/graphics/PEX5/lbin/pexd: PHSS_23559/23561 PEX5 Runtime/DevKit Server Daemon PEX 5.1 v4 on HP-UX 11.00 $Date: 17-Sep-02.23:55:58 $ $Revision: 20020917.19773 $ pexd /opt/graphics/OpenGL/lib/libGL.1: OpenGL 1.1 Revision 1.31 on HP-UX 11.00 $Date: 10-Sep-02.23:51:14 $ $Revision: 20020910.25547 $ libGL.1 /opt/graphics/OpenGL/lib/libGLU.1: OpenGL 1.1 Revision 1.31 on HP-UX 11.00 $Date: 11-Sep-02.00:01:24 $ $Revision: 20020911.25547 $ libGLU.1 /opt/graphics/OpenGL/lbin/ogld: OpenGL 1.1 Revision 1.31 on HP-UX 11.00 $Date: 11-Sep-02.00:01:24 $ $Revision: 20020911.25547 $ ogld HEWLETT PACKARD WORKSTATION GRAPHICS CONFIGURATION thanks
