[SD] Zoom views
Here's my question about the dual views: can the views be from the same perspective, but one is zoomed out (e.g. like the orbit MFD in Orbiter?), less detailed view of the world (kind of like a minimap but with more information)?
I'm thinking of doing a Lander style game with the main window displaying the player's ship, and a slightly smaller window displaying a "zoomed" out, wireframe view of the player, their orbit, and the planet's surface, does this fit the contest?
Provided they're presenting different information - and it sounds like they would be - then sure. Just make sure that they're equally useful.
