Making progress!!!!!!!! =D
Well, I'm making some good progress in 3DS Max right now. I just finished up on the basics of animation using bones. It's not as difficult as I had previously thought. But it's all working really well for me. I haven't had too many problems so far. But I don't think it's always going to be that easy. LoL. Especially when I get into some more complex things. But I think I'll stick to what I am doing right now, and get a solid understanding of it before I move on. Anyone else have more advice? =) Thanks in advance, Matt U.
:==-_ Why don't the voices just leave me alone?! _-==:
Well, that was an unexpected thread.
I'm not sure what you're looking for, really. Just, uh, go check out the sticky threads for some tutorials, visit 3D modeling sites for ideas and models (well, obviously models, but I mean things to look at as a reference), and any sort of concept art just to spur your thinking.
Otherwise, just don't give up, which is usually good advice. Persist!

gsgraham.comSo, no, zebras are not causing hurricanes.
Let me make a suggestion, Matt. And it's not in regards to your efforts in 3DSMAx.
You've made 3 new topics in about two days, which are all (basically) about the same thing....your further development in certain areas of 3D art as you play with them. There's many aspects to 3D art, and if you make a topic to announce that you've played with every single one....we're going to have a lot of topics from you.
I'm not saying to stop posting your discoveries and asking for feedback, that's fine and why we're here. But my suggestion is to keep adding to one of your main topics, instead of continually making new ones.
Cuts down on clutter and all that.
