Open source level editors
Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone could point me towards some good open source level editors (googled w/ no luck). I basically need a solution for placing "entities" in a map and maybe generating primitive geometry (like brushs, but most static models will be generated before hand in a general modeling package and placed as entities). I've considered using GTKRadiant but it licensing terms with id are kind of tricky (especially if I ever planned on going commercial). Any ideas? Thanks!

DELED (www.delgine.com) has a free version (no restrictions) with license free maps, and a open ascii level format. It's not OSS, but it's free in every other sense.
Battle for Wesnoth has a free, open-source map editor that you may be able to make use of. It's a pretty good one too. My project has its own FOSS editor as well, but it's still in the primitive stages so it probably won't be of much use to you unfortunately.
