I'm presently working on general control architectures for intelligent (and self-learning) control of arbitrary nonlinear systems... and that's going well. I don't have much time for my UAV work at the moment, but I'm hoping to get more funding for early next year to push ahead with some of my ideas.

As for neural-like architectures, I've been working mostly with RBF networks and B-spline networks this past year.
