Im quite getting the hang of modelling here, Ive made some minimodels but nothing big so far, maybe its cause Im not as good at 2d as Im at 3d [smile]. I was wondering if anyone would know anywhere where I can pick up some free concept art and try to make a model from it? Not just a regular picture but the kind where you see the model once from the front and once from the side. And maybe from above to. Because then I can import them into Maya and modell with the views in the background. Anyone understand me? :P I tried google but no luck, is such pictures to be found anywhere?

You can probably find al lthat in ConceptArt.org forums or similar place like DevianArt. Or just plain search on Google.Images will give you a handful to work with.

What you're looking for is called a blueprint, so you can try googling for a blueprint of whatever you want to model.
Here is a free collection of them.

I have also personally done a male and female anime style figure which are available on My Samples Page. (Scroll down to "Blueprints for 3D Modelling" section.)

do a search on concept art and u should get loads of pages :)

That site was exactly was I was looking for! Although, Im more for monsters/aliens/animals/characters(both human and not human) than for vehicles.

@owiley: I did but I mostly found concept art of the more "art" type, like real drawings of chracters in game in dramatic poses or scenes. Not very suitable as a blueprint. Havent searched for blueprints though, just for concept art. Ill go do that now.
